The fastest way to 1000 followers in 2025

A 5-step Bluprint...

READ TIME: 3,5 Minutes

Happy sunday Creator!

I hope you had a great week!

I don’t want to waste your time…

So, let’s dive in:

In this newsletter, I will go show the FASTEST way to get to 1000 followers on Threads.

In 2025.

I’ve narrowed it to 5 crucial steps:

  • Step 1: Clean up your profile

  • Step 2: Engage like your life depends on it.

  • step 3: Provide value

  • step 4: Inject personality

  • Step 5: Staying commited

Clean up your profile:

The first thing you want to do is cleaning up your profile.

This is where you make your first impression.

And as you know, the first impression is CRUCIAL.

Profile picture:

You have two options here, the first alternative is simply using your logo, the other option is a picture of yourself.

A picture of yourself is ideal if you are a Threads creator.

Showing your face has so many benefits, it builds trust, it shows authority, it builds connections to people and so on. (ironically, I don’t show my face)

A face-shown profile picture should:

  • Stand out

  • Be high-quality

  • Have a colored background

  • Highlight your face

  • Reflect your account-tone

Remember, your profile picture is often the first thing people see - So have a great one!

BIO:

A great Bio should tell strangers what you’re all about.

Things you can have in your BIO:

  • What content you post

  • Who you are helping

  • Something you have achieved

  • What people can expect from you

  • Something your offering

Don’t be shy to include emojis too!

They can improve the aesthetic of your BIO.

Pinned post:

Don’t sleep on the pinned post, it’s like a billboard on the main highway.

The point of a pinned post is to win trust and form a connection.

A pinned post can be:

  • A viral post (least effective)

  • A story about you or your journey

  • A post that provides sh*t ton of value (most effective)

Please, make your profile look great. Everything will be so much easier.

Engage like your life depends on it:

Let’s be real, leaving comments is THE EASIEST way to get eyeballs on you as a small account.

Since your reach will often be minimal…

A thoughtful comment can often get 200+ views.

Let’s say you do 10 thoughtful comments per day - You can rack up 2000+ total views by just commenting.

If your comment gets attention, people WILL check out your profile.

Let’s say that 200 people out of 2000 people visits your profile.

That’s 200 POTENTIAL followers PER DAY for a small account.

It’s pretty mindblowing…

Now, I hope you understand what impact great commenting can have.

But let’s not forget, it’s difficult to consistently write comments that gets hundreds of views.

Here are some general advice:

Do NOT comment like “Great!”, “Nice post”, “Thanks!” - That’s too NPC-like.

Instead:

  • Coment something that ADDS value to the conversation

  • Share a personal experience or story on the topic

  • Ask a GOOD question

  • If you have it, leverage HUMOUR (big)

Examples:

Example 1: Someone posts about their morning routine

Weak Comment: “Love this!”

Thoughtful Comment: “I’ve tried this, and adding 10 minutes of journaling at the end of my routine completely changed how I plan my day. Highly recommend!”

Example 2: A creator shares a tip on productivity

Weak Comment: “This is helpful!”

Thoughtful Comment: “I like this idea! One thing I’ve found works well is time-blocking tasks by energy levels—creative work in the morning, admin tasks in the afternoon. It’s a game-changer.”

Remember: The earlier you comment on a posts life-cycle, the better. Try to comment on posts that has been posted for 0-12 hours.

In my experience, the more you engage with other people. The better the reach will be on your OWN posts.

Provide value:

Your posts needs substance.

ESPECIALLY if you are a new account.

Something that makes people want to follow you.

People don’t press the follow-button for nothing.

They want something in return.

They want VALUE

But how do I provide value?

You do it through:

  • Giving actionable advice

  • Sharing knowledge

  • Solve problems

  • Share personal experience

  • Documenting your journey/progress

  • Share lessons from experts

  • Step-by-step guides

The list is infinite.

In my opinion, do whatever you think is best for YOU - As long as you provide some form of value.

Pro tip: Focus on writing long-form posts, they seem to have the best performance out of any posting style right now.

Inject Personality:

As a small account, it’s important to stand out.

You need to take up some “internet space”

…And the easiest way to stand out is by being YOU.

There’s MILLIONS of creators on Threads, but there’s only ONE YOU.

Take advantage of it.

People follow people.

Show people who you really are - People might like you for the person you are, not nescessarily your content.

Here’s how to inject personality into your content:

  • Share Your Wins and Losses: Don’t just talk about your successes. Share the struggles, too. It makes you relatable.

  • Show Your Humor: A humourus tone can work wonders for connection. Don’t be afraid to crack a joke or share something fun.

  • Open Up: Let people in on your journey - your “why,” your goals, and what drives you.

  • Share your unfiltered thoughts: Share your unpopular opinions on various topics.

Don’t overthink it. Your audience wants the real, imperfect you.

Stay commited:

The truth: Nothing happens overnight.

This can make or break your progress.

You need to stay commited to your plan.

You can be doing everything else perfectly, but if you’re not consistent.

It’s over…

Here’s a few tips to help you stay consistent:

  • Always do the bare minimum:

No matter how you feel, do the absolute bare minimum.

  • Batch Content:
Write multiple posts at once when you have creative burst. You can then later schedule these throughout the week using Blacktwist for example.

  • Repurpose Content:
Take your best posts and repurpose them into new posts.

The plan to 1000 followers

This is how I would plan my week to hit 1000 followers ASAP.

Content:

  • 5+ posts per day

  • 5 long-form posts per week

Engagement:

  • 10+ comments per day

  • Spend 30 minutes daily on engagement

Doing this, it’s very possible to gain 100 followers per week.

If you gain 100 followers per week, you will hit 1000 followers in under 2,5 months.

Good luck!

That’s it for today!

Until next week,
Keep creating!
