Why 90% of Creators Fail to Grow

EVEN while posting 3 times per day??!

READ TIME: 3 Minutes

Happy Sunday Creator!

How has your weekend been? Mine has been great!

I spent my entire weekend ice fishing and drinking beer.

It was awesome…

Do you enjoy fishing?

Anyways, let’s dive in to the main part of this newsletter.

I see so many creators posting three times a day consistently, yet their accounts remain at the same follower count as last month.

They’re doing the work. But not seeing results.

Why? Because posting more doesn’t guarantee growth.

There in my experience 3 different reasons to this problem:

  1. Low-Quality Content

  2. An Unattractive Profile

  3. No Personality

Let’s break these down and, more importantly, fix them.

Low-Quality Content

Posting three times a day should be enough to grow. But if your content isn’t resonating, it’s not about how much you post. It’s about what you post.

Ask yourself: “Why should someone follow me?”

If you don’t have a clear answer, that’s a red flag.

Low-quality content fails because it:

  • Doesn’t create a connection with the reader.

  • Brings no real value.

  • Lacks relatability.

  • Doesn’t spark curiosity or thought.

How to Fix It:

Write Like You Talk:

Keep it casual, engaging, and easy to read. Short, punchy sentences are your friend.

People don’t want to read complex sentences and stuff they would find inside a book, they are scrolling on Threads.

Master Hooks:

If your hook is weak, no one will read the rest of your post. I spend 5-15 minutes crafting my hooks, because if the first line flops, the post is dead.

Ps. If you want access to TESTED and PROVEN hooks ready to be STOLEN:

Just plug & play… And go Viral!

Bad Hook Example: “How to lose weight.” (Boring, vague, and obvious.)

Good Hook Example: “Lose weight in 30 days with this 15-minute daily exercise.” (Specific, engaging, and curiosity-driven.)

Provide Real Value:

Your post should either:

  • Teach

  • Inspire

  • Entertain

This is everything. When your posts actually help people, they’re not just another scroll - they mean something.

Value builds trust and real connections, and it’s hands-down the easiest way to grow on Threads.

In my experience, posts that provides value tends to perform better on a consistent basis, Rather than “viral-seeking” posts.

Why?

When you’re consistently sharing tips, insights, or ideas that others can actually use, you’re giving people a reason to follow.

They start thinking, “I can’t miss this—I need this person in my feed.”

THINK: Make your content too good to ignore.

An Unattractive Profile

Your profile is like a digital handshake. If it’s messy or unclear, people won’t follow.

No matter how good your content is.

How to Fix It:

Choose a High-Quality Profile Picture.

  • If you show your face, use a clean, high-resolution close-up. A smile helps.

  • If you’re a faceless brand, use your logo (daaa)

  • Bonus tip: A colored background makes you stand out in the feed.

Write a Clear, Impactful Bio.

Think of it as your promise to followers.

You can use this formula:

Who your content is for + What you do/did + Why it matters to them.

Here’s what I have:

Pin Your Best Content

If you want optimize your growth on Threads, You NEED to have a great PINNED POST.

Your pinned post acts as a giant billboard on the main highway.

There’s 3 alternatives for a pinned post:

  1. Personal story

  2. Long-form Thread with TONS of value

  3. A Viral post

I would rank them like in the order above.

Personal story: Tells people who you are and your story behind your account, try to be as personal as you can be.

Long-form Thread: This should be your most valuable thread.

Viral Post: I wouldn’t recommend this alternative becuase it doesn’t give the viewer any value or connection. This is just a social-proof for your account.

Profile Summary:

Choose a great profile picture, write a good BIO, have a great pinned post.

Showing no Personality

The 3rd and last reason for today is not showing enough personality.

Do NOT be afraid to show your personality, be afraid of blending in with everyone else.

There is millions of posts published every day on Threads, you post 3.

So you need to STAND OUT.

In a sea of similar content, personality is what sets you apart.

When people can see your personality and hopefully like it, they’re more likely to engage, follow, and stick around.

But how do I show personality?

  • Make jokes

  • Share wins AND losses

  • Write like you talk (again)

  • Be wierd

  • Be yourself

  • Share you unfiltered thoughts

Here’s why showing your personality matters:

  1. It Builds Relations.

People don’t like to follow accounts, they like to follow people. If your content feels authentic, followers feel like they’re getting to know the real you

  2. It Makes Your Content Memorable.

Facts and tips are everywhere, but when they’re delivered with personality, they stick. Share stories, be relatable, and don’t be afraid to be human.

  3. It sets you apart.

Remember there is millions of accounts on Threads, but there is only one YOU. Make the best out of it.

SUMMARY

  1. Fix your content. Make it valuable and engaging.

  2. Optimize your profile. First impressions matter.

  3. Show your personality. Be someone worth following.

Growth on Threads isn’t magic. It’s a system.

That’s it for today!

See you on Threads,

since then.

KEEP CREATING
