Why 90% of creators fail to grow - even while posting 3x/day
Is 3 times a day not enough?

Hello!
This will be my first Newsletter EVER - Don’t expect it to be perfect, because it won’t be. (there’s probably multiple typos)
But I’ll try my BEST.
I’ll go right into the meat and potatoes for this one!
I’ve seen so many creators posting 3x/day AND is consistent, but they aren’t getting results.
In this newsletter, I will go over what I think is the 3 biggest problems why they experience that:
Low QUALITY content
UGLY profile
Not showing PERSONALITY
These are all reasons why 90% of creators isn’t growing - even when they post 3x/day.
I will include why they are a problem, and how to solve them.
Low Quality Content
First off, posting 3 times a day, SHOULD be enough - Regardless who you are and what you post about.
If you post 3 times a day but still not seeing any progress, it might be the content your producing that is the problem - It doesn’t have the QUALITY.
Ask yourself this question: “Why should someone follow me?”. If you don’t have a clear answer to this question, you may need to rethink what you’re offering.
Low quality content is content that doesn’t create connections to other people, brings no value to the reader, people can’t relate to, doesn’t spark thoughts in the readers mind and so on. Who in the hell, decides to follow someone that posts low quality content! No one!
So, how do we fix this? How do we turn a low quality post into a high Quality post?
Here’s how:
You need to change your writing to make it more fun and easier to read. My best tip is, to write like you talk and keep your sentences short and punchy. This usually makes it easier to read and digest the text.
Easier to digest = More engagement
Write GREAT HOOKS, I can’t stress this enough. The hook is the first thing people read, if your hook is bad, your entire post is ruined - people will just scroll past your post not caring what you have to say.
It often takes me 5-15 minutes just to write my hooks, because I want to them to be as perfect as possible. I like this rule: “Focus 50% on the hook, and 50% on the rest”
Bad hook example: “How to lose weight:” - Boring, unspecific, no guarentees and people usually know the boring truth about how to lose weight - Just eat less, move more.
Good hook example: “Lose weight in 30 days by doing this exercise 15 minutes a day:” - Specific, a guarentee, not boring and people want to know what exercise it is.
PROVIDE VALUE, this is everything. When your posts actually help people, they’re not just another scroll - they mean something.
Value builds trust and real connections, and it’s hands-down the easiest way to grow on Threads.
In my experience, posts that provides value tends to perform better on a consistent basis, Rather than “viral-seeking” posts.
Why? Because when you’re consistently sharing tips, insights, or ideas that others can actually use, you’re giving people a reason to follow.
They start thinking, “I can’t miss this—I need this person in my feed.”
Here’s the magic of it:
People see you as the go-to. If your content keeps delivering, people think of you as the person to follow for what they need. That’s how you build authority.
You’re building a community, not just collecting followers. When you’re putting value first, people naturally want to engage, comment, share, and connect.
You instantly stand out. While others are just posting for views or random engagement, you’re the one actually giving people something useful. That’s memorable.
Ugly Profile
The second reason I see why people can’t grow their accounts, is their ugly and unattractive profiles.
How your profile looks, is SUPER important. Your profile is the first or second thing people see - it’s like a digital handshake.
If it’s messy, unclear, or unattractive, people are going to leave before they even look at your posts or follow you.
So here’s how you turn an Ugly profile into an really Attractive profile:
Choose a High-Quality Profile Picture
There’s generally two options here.
If you show your face on Threads, choose a clean and high-resolution close-up picture of yourself smiling into the camera.
If you are a faceless account, have your brand logo as your profile picture.
If you show your face, you might want to consider adding a colour background to your profile picture. This can be really powerful for your branding, people will begin to associate you with your background colour.
It’s important for your profile picture to stand out in the feed.
Have a Clear, Impactful Bio
Think of your bio as a promise to your followers. It should quickly tell people what you offer and why it matters to them. Here’s a quick formula to help:
Who you are + What you do + How it benefits them
Here’s two examples of creators that I think has NAILED their profile picture and BIO:

@mikeromaine

@piss.off.boss
Both Mike and Adam has a high-quality picture of themselves as profile pictures + a colour background.
Pin Your Best Content
If you want optimize your growth on Threads, You NEED to have a great PINNED POST.
Your pinned post acts as a giant billboard on the main highway.
There’s 3 alternatives for a pinned post:
Personal story
Long-form Thread with TONS of value
A Viral post
I would rank them like in the order above.
Personal story: Tells people who you are and your story behind your account, try to be as personal as you can be.
Long-form Thread: This should be your most valuable thread.
Viral Post: I wouldn’t recommend this alternative becuase it doesn’t give the viewer any value or connection. This is just a social-proof for your account.
Profile Summary:
Choose a great profile picture, write a good BIO, have a great pinned post.
I could go even more In-depth and give more examples for optimizing profile, but that’s for another time;) I can’t fit everything in a single post.
Showing no Personality
The 3rd and last reason for today is not showing enough personality.
Do NOT be afraid to show your personality, be afraid of blending in with everyone else.
There is millions of posts published every day on Threads, you post 3.
So you need to STAND OUT.
In a sea of similar content, personality is what sets you apart.
When people can see your personality and hopefully like it, they’re more likely to engage, follow, and stick around.
But how do I show personality?
Make jokes
Share wins AND losses
Write like you talk (again)
Be wierd
Be yourself
Share you unfiltered thoughts
Here’s why showing your personality matters:
It Builds Relations.
People don’t like to follow accounts, they like to follow people. If your content feels authentic, followers feel like they’re getting to know the real you
It Makes Your Content Memorable.
Facts and tips are everywhere, but when they’re delivered with personality, they stick. Share stories, be relatable, and don’t be afraid to be human.
It sets you apart.
Remember there is millions of accounts on Threads, but there is only one YOU. Make the best out of it.
